2025 F Ashton Magee is committed to K-State
On Wednesday, male basketball in the state of Kansas obtained their first commitment from the 2025 class when South Jones (Ellisville, ms.) Ashton Magee announced his commitment.
Magee decided days after visiting K-State during the weekend for their convincing victory over the Colorado of Conference-Optinion to help take a sequence of four consecutive defeats.
Although Magee is not currently classified, according to Rivals.com, its recruitment has increased since the new year after having helped South Jones to a 30-3 file. Magee holds offers from several division 1 programs, notably southern Florida, the state of the New Mexico, the College of Charleston and others.
Known for its high -level athletics, Magee collected an average of 23.5 points out of 57% shots and 8.3 rebounds per game. His three -point shot remains a work in progress – Magee only drew 33.1% on a three -point range out of four attempts – but his defensive capacity and his athletics should help him carve out a relatively early role.
While Magee is the lonely commitment of the Wildcats in this recruitment class, Jerome Tang And its staff could continue this momentum later this week. Tolton Catholic (Columbia, MO) Wilson Exavo will announce his commitment on Thursday.
