2025 Nba All-Star Game is almost there. The match, scheduled for Sunday, February 16 at the Warriors’ Chase Center in San Francisco, Make a new format This year with three NBA All-Stars teams plus the winners of Rising Star Challenge on Friday in a mini tournament with four teams.
The format is new, but the lists have many familiar names. LeBron James will play in his 21st consecutive stars match (and making his 20th consecutive departure). Stephen Curry will play in his 11th star match and will do so in front of his home fans in San Francisco. Kevin veterans stars, Nikola Jokic, Jalen Brunson and Jayson Tatum will also be on the field on Sunday.

Wembanyama has an average of 24.4 points, 11 rebounds and 3.9 blocks per game – all the averages increased from its recruit campaign from last year. Evan Mobley, Cade Cunningham, Tyler Herro and Alperen Sengun are also among the first stars in 2025.

Young and Irving have been appointed injury replacement Monday after being left lists of 24 players. Neither davis nor Luka Doncic – The two largest parts of the largest trade in the history of the NBA – will be accompanied in the Sunday affair.
Although there will be technically 15 runners among the three teams, there were still 10 players chosen by a fan, players and media voting combination to win the 10 “start -up” points this year: James, Curry, Durant, Jokic, Gilgeous-Alexander, Brunson, Towns, Antetokounmpo, Tatum and Mitchell. The rest of the lists was selected by the coaches. It is not clear for now that will start the matches on Sunday.

If you detect a theme with the lists, well, you are right. Barkley and Shaq have both decided to build up teams around a specific concept. Barkley opted for international players. His only American drafted was Donovan Mitchell, and it was because no other player born abroad was available in the last round. O’Neal leaned towards older legends. Brown and Tatum are the only players on his team under the age of 30. Smith simply took the guys who were left, although he took note of saying for several choices that he wanted to reward victory.
LeBron was the first choice of draft, while Edwards and Jokic were the first choices of their respective teams.

Whether it has been planned by the captains or purely incidental, the lists here work perfectly for the NBA. The criticism of the previous games of the stars called for the League to try a Team USA VS Team World Format. Logistically, this would create complications, but these lists can mainly serve as a stolen door test for this concept.
The fourth and last team of the Sunday tournament will be decided on Friday evening.
