Sergio Ramos has the record of Laliga of all time for red cards (20) while playing for Real Madrid and recovered his last for the club (n ° 26) in all competitions against Manchester City in the Champions League in February 2020.
Since then, the 38-year-old man simply refused to make fun of age and picked up four other red cards during his stays at the end of his career with Paris Saint-Germain, Seville and now Liga MX Club Monterrey, for whom he signed as a free agent in February.

In only his third appearance for the Ligue 1 club since his participation in July 2021, Ramos was shown his first red card during the 1-1 draw of December in Lorient. Ramos only entered the fray as a part-time substitute and yet has still not managed to switch to the final whistle after picking up two late reservations in the space of only five minutes. With PSG dragging and chasing the game, they were reduced to 10 men when Ramos took care of a second caution in the 86th minute for having obstructed a race carried out by striker Lorient Teremas Moffi. Ramos picked up two yellow cards in 30 seconds to see Red for the 28th time. He won his first yellow card after arguing with referee Pierre Gaillouste in the 41st minute, who returned to the Spaniard and gave him a straight red a few moments later.
