Cut a promo on Roman Reigns and CM Punk
Drew McIntyre was the one to start the show when he came out and started doing a promo talking about everything he deserves to have and berating the crowd for cheering for Roman Reigns and CM Punk, despite who they are . The promo would be interrupted by Sami Zayn, following the events they had on the last episode of Raw, as the two had a heated exchange of words before getting into a brawl.
McIntyre would gain the upper hand as things progressed, only for Jey Uso to come out and save Sami Zayn from further punishment. This would set up the main event later that night, which was a face-off between Drew and Sami.

The first round comes to an end
The first match of the night was another entry into the WWE Intercontinental Women’s Championship tournament featuring Natalya, Alba Fyre and IYO SKY, who replaced Kairi Sane after she was attacked and injured by the Pure Fusion Collective on the episode of December 16 on Raw. .
By all accounts the match was good and would see IYO be the one to advance in the tournament. This now sets up the semi-final matches with Dakota Kai facing Zoey Stark and IYO SKY facing Lyra Valkyria.

A lot happened after that first match, like a short Alpha Academy and R-Truth backstage segment, featuring Pete Dunne, American Made, and The Judgment Day. This played into a match between Chad Gable and Akira Tozawa which saw Gable pick up the victory via submission. Gable didn’t let up and Otis came out to chase him.
Damian Priest would then defeat Dominik Mysterio, before defeating Mysterio and JD McDonagh, who was dressed as Santa Claus. The power play would return to The Judgment Day as they got the better of Priest, beating him even more after the match.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods came out to cut a promo, this time aimed at the men in the commentary desk, Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett. Wade would bear the brunt of things as Kofi and Woods mentioned that Barrett would “never lace them again”, in reference to the end of his wrestling career.
Kofi then pointed out his mother in the crowd, calling her “the woman who gave birth to me”, which caused the Boston crowd to boo in disapproval before Kofi’s mother disowned her child on screen , thus provoking a rather positive reaction from the crowd.
Drew McIntyre Vs. Sami Zayn was the main event
Massive group beating begins
The main event of Raw played this opening segment and saw Drew McIntyre wrestle Sami Zayn. McIntyre would earn the victory and extend his unbeaten streak against Zayn to 19-0 in singles action.. After the match ended, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga came out and defeated Sami Zayn and Jey Uso again.
Drew left the ring and let The New Bloodline do what they wanted. Jey would have a moment where he would be able to hold off the assault for a while before Solo would put an end to it. After the attack, medical staff came to check on Zayn and Uso until the end of the episode.
