In this episode of the Kevin O’Connor Show, Tom Haberstroh and KOC play a little game of Panic Meter with some NBA teams that have been struggling lately. Should these teams be feeling CHILL, should they be sweating, or is it full blown PANIC? The guys start with the Boston Celtics, who are playing .500 ball lately. Is Kristaps Porzingis entirely responsible for Boston’s recent woes? The second team reviewed by Kevin and Tom is the Minnesota Timberwolves. Both guys are freaking out, and Julius Randle is the main reason why. But is “Dubious Handles” impossible to move forward before the deadline? And third, the Golden State Warriors. Kevin and Tom both think the Warriors have no chance of winning this season, and maybe it’s time for Steph and the Dubs to go their separate ways.

Would this potential divorce be like how Tom Brady left the New England Patriots? Would Warriors fans still support Steph, even if he left? KOC believes Steph owes the Warriors nothing, and it would benefit Curry and the NBA if he becomes a contender. In fact, what if that competitor was the Houston Rockets? Kevin and Tom concocted a hypothetical exchange that has to be seen to be believed. And if you’re interested in Rockets trade rumors, don’t miss KOC and Tom discussing what-ifs involving Devin Booker and Kevin Durant as the Phoenix Suns’ miserable season continues.
