The worst rumble of the 2020s and undoubtedly the worst of all time was the Royal Rumble Male of 2022, which was an absolute mess. Very lazy reservation, large abandoned stars without any form of narration or reflection, the emphasis on Shane McMahon and Brock Lesnar and a lost audience led to bad viewing.
Some decent participants such as Bad Bunny and Johnny Knoxville failed to save an unfortunate, messy and boring fight.

With WWE releasing a mass of talents, WWE really had to scratch the cannon with participants and surprises, which led to a very poor quality fight with total negligence of psychology and bad work on the ring everything long. Personalities like Summer Rae, Cameron and Sarah Logan added very little to their feedback, and the winner Ronda Rousey did not look in shape because of the rust of the ring.
The public was enthusiastic after Rousey’s return, but the organization of the match left a lot to be desired.

The final stages of this match were very pleasant, with a performance by Jade Cargill star and a fantastic performance by Bayley. The last 10 pleasant minutes, however, led to a royal rumble widely surfed.
During a large part of the match, the work in the ring was very poor, sloppy and of poor quality, harming the momentum of many people involved and moving away the crowd here and there. A good finish did not really compensate for the overwhelming majority of the match.

Much of the action in this match was slow and laborious, but there were remarkable performances from Bianca Belair, Shayna Baszler and the possible winner Charlotte Flair. The crowd helped this match as well as strong reactions from all those involved, even if it is necessary to admit that part of the warning dropped the match.

On the technical level, there was nothing wrong in itself in this match of the Royal Rumble, but it had nothing from the point of view of the narration to really bring it out and really involve the public.
Bron Breakker shone, Gunther achieved another solid performance and Cody Rhodes’ victory was a great moment, but the match felt quite safe and generic, preventing him from reaching the expected summits.

Rhea Ripley achieved a fantastic performance here, winning the match since the number one, eliminating for the last time Liv Morgan who arrived at the number two, the duo helping to lead the match from the point of view of the narration. There were some good surprises throughout the match, but a large part of the match was spoiled by bad work in the ring in the middle part.
A large part of the action was sloppy and brought the crowd out, and there have also been questionable creative decisions, such as the elimination of Becky Lynch and Bayley far too early. Nia Jax’s botched final entrance was also very annoying.

Regarding work in the ring, the Royal Rumble 2021 was a fantastic showcase. A steep action, organized chaos and an unpredictable winner, all of this gave rise to a very solid confrontation with solid performance, especially from Daniel Bryan, Big E, Matt Riddle and Edge.
Unfortunately, the lack of real crowd during the Thunderdome era has a significant impact on this match with hindsight, because it is very difficult to attend. The surprises do not arrive, even the most shocking like Christian and Carlito.

If this match had taken place in front of a real audience and not at Thunderdome, it could have been a classic, especially since the final stages were so exciting between Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair, who made a superb -come.
There was a lot of work strong in this match from Billie Kay, Jillian Hall, Ripley, Belair and more, which made it a fun match. There were some inconsistencies in terms of technical work here and there, but the match was there when it was necessary, despite a difficult framework and the absence of audiences.

The performance of Iron Man by Gunther has contributed to giving this match a solid structure throughout, guaranteeing strong psychology and narration. In the end, Cody Rhodes’ journey to the main event of Wrestlemania went even further since it was he who managed to survive Gunther.

The 10 most stupid Royal Rumble spots in history
As great and exciting as the Royal Rumble WWE match, there have been several stupid moments in the rumble over the years.
The public was addicted, the work of the characters was very solid on the part of Rhodes, Logan Paul, Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio, and even if part of the reservation seemed a little lazy with very precipitated moments such as the entrance and The rapid elimination of Edge. Match and Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar having a very fast interaction, the match was very solid overall.

One of the greatest matches of the Royal Rumble of all time took place in 2020, and he came in the form of a superb male match. Brock Lesnar kicked off, starting an unstoppable sequence and eliminating the other 13 first men of the match, before being then eliminated by Drew McIntyre. The structure of this match was perfect, it looked like the most unique rumble of all time, with exciting narration and psychology, especially on the part of Lesnar.
The second half of the match was also very fun with the crazy return of Edge, McIntyre’s electrical victory and a few high -level stars that fought, which completely vibrated the crowd.
