The first phase of the UEFA Champions League League is over, and the prospects for direct elimination stadium is now much clearer. Manchester City avoided the disaster, Liverpool dominated the table in the league phase, and we will get Manchester City against Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the playoffs.
The Friday draw will detail the path to the final of the Champions League at the Allianz Arena in Munich on May 31, while who will play who, still in the round of 16, remains unstable.

How do the playoffs of the direct elimination phase work?
The teams ranked from ninth to 16th at the end of the league phase will be gathered and will be attracted to one of the non -series teams. Each seeded team will have four potential opponents and will discover their real enemy during Friday’s draw before participating in a two -legged series.
The seeded team will welcome the second floor and the team with the largest global score will go to the 16 final, with additional time and imminent penalties if the overall score is equal.

How do the teams qualify for the KOs?
In the 36 team league phase, the teams that end in the first eight will win a bye and qualify directly for the end of the final. These ninth in the 24th to 24th will enter the first qualifiers for the Knockout phase, while the teams have ranked 25th or lower will be eliminated. Unlike previous editions of the Champions League, no team will take place at the UEFA Europa League.
Are there objectives outside and can teams from the same country meet?
The outside goals rule will not apply, and there will be no restrictions on teams in the same country by playing each other.
How does the round of the Round 16 work?
The teams that finished the classified league phase from first to eighth will be classified in this Tour, while the teams that have progressed through the qualifiers for the direct elimination phase will not be during the head. The rules of the previous round apply and there will also be predetermined agreements that will create the support. There is an additional reward for the teams that have finished the league phase in the first four – they will essentially have their own quadrants of the support and would not face these last stages of the competition.
