The tournament on the coast of the sports association begins on Friday in Carefirst Arena in Washington, DC with two games. The seeded n ° 13 Stony Brooks faces Delaware No. 12 to open the day, followed shortly after by a match between the seeded n ° 14 of the North Carolina A&T and the seeded n ° 11 HOFSTRA. The winners of these matches will go to the second round on Saturday.
Towson won the seeded n ° 1 in the CAA tournament by winning the regular season title with a 16-2 file at a conference. Towson has been looking for his first appearance in The Big Dance since 1991.
Towson, UNC Wilmington, Charleston and William & Mary have all received coveted doubles and will be in action for the first time on Sunday in the quarter-finals. Spring, Charleston beat Stony Brook 82-79 in overtime in the CAA title match to win the Automatic Offer of the League at the NCAA tournament.
