During his career of almost 30 years in the professional struggle, Kevin Nash faced many of the biggest names of his generation and was one of several teams and stables. According to Nash during an episode of his “Kliq this“Podcast, a man stood out as the best” worker “for him.
“I appreciate athletics (wrestlers today) but when I look at someone coming there and punching (…) before sending the guy and athletics?” Nash explained, criticizing the “Egg-Paker” kicks that modern wrestlers launch their opponents. “But the work rate does not mean that making a lot of movements. The work rate means telling a story – one of the best workers of all time was Hogan.” The veteran also added that Hogan had an obvious and easy formula, and made for memorable moments to which the public could react.
“You look at him against the rock in Toronto, and I mean, you know it works!” Nash explained later. “It is the work. The work is not whether you can do an AF ** king or not, like a Moonsault. It tells me that you have spent time on a trampoline.” The veteran then criticized the “suicide dives” in multi-men matches where the wrestlers wait outside that one or two of their opponents hit them with a movement. Nash then agreed with his co-host, Sean Oliver, who proclaimed that it was possible for a wrestler to be a great athlete but not a big worker.
