Davis was more than a favorite from 18 to 1 Betmgm To defeat Roach and defend its WBA light title on Saturday at Barclays Center in New York.
Naturally, the bizarre nature of Willis’ decision and the end result leaving the Gardon high and dry after what should have been the most lucrative performance of his career triggered a wave of indignation in the world of boxing, with a myriad of book stars for book and notable sweet science.
