Jeff Jarrett was born on July 14, 1967. At a very young age, he already knew the world of professional wrestling. By age 18, he was a referee for the promotion his father worked for, CWA.
Today, at the age of 57, Jarrett has done virtually everything he was expected to accomplish in a decades-long career.

He is the son of Jerry Jarrett
- Jerry Jarrett began promoting in the 1970s.

As mentioned, Jarrett’s father was involved in the professional wrestling business before his son was his son. Jerry Jarrett was one of the biggest promoters in the Mid-South region of the United States. He and his wife helped promote the CWA.
Eventually, Jerry and Jeff also came together to create TNA in the early 2000s. It was a successful venture for them. However, Jerry Jarrett eventually left TNA in 2005.
He has held more than 80 titles

Jeff Jarrett has made many contributions to the world of professional wrestling. This earned him two Hall of Fame inductions at two different companies.
Jarrett’s first Hall of Fame induction came in 2015, where he earned a spot in the TNA Hall of Fame. He was the third wrestler to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame and was inducted with Earl Hebner. In 2018, Jarrett was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

In 2014, Jarrett announced the creation of Global Force Wrestling. Initially things started to look good as GFW had announced various partnerships, championships were announced and a roster was in place. However, this ultimately failed. GFW eventually merged with TNA and by 2018, that was no longer the case.

- She died in 2007.
- He married Karen Jarrett in 2010.
During Jarrett’s life, he was married on two different occasions. His first marriage was to Jill Jarrett. The two had met while in high school and ended up having three children together. Tragically, Jill died in 2007 after a long battle with breast cancer.
In 2009, Jeff began dating Karen Angle, who was previously the wife of Kurt Angle. In 2010, Karen and Jeff got married. This was actually used as an on-screen storyline by TNA for a while.

Jarrett helped form the NWO 2000
- The nWo 2000 was created in 1999.
- He was originally formed with Jarrett, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Bret Hart.
- More members joined overtime.
The nWo was one of the biggest factions (figuratively and literally) in all of professional wrestling. Eventually, the group became so huge that there were offshoots falling out with each other. A forgotten part of nWo history was nWo 2000.
In 1999, nWo 2000 was created by Jarrett, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Bret Hart. Over time, as had happened before, more and more members joined this version of the nWo. However, it was not as successful as previous versions.
