Dakota Kai would be back on the road for WWE shortly after having undergone a concussion at the end of January. According to Pwinsider EliteHope within the company is that Kai will be authorized to resume action on “WWE RAW” in the coming weeks. One of the sources of the point of sale said they thought Kai would be back at the end of February, if not earlier. Kai failed to participate in the Royal Rumble Women’s match during the weekend, which was won by a Flair returning from Charlotte.
Kai was recently in the final of the tournament for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, but was defeated by Lyra Valkyria. She beat Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler and Katana Chance in the tournament to go to Valkyria in the final. Kai competed last time in a team match with Iyo Sky against Baszler and Stark on “RAW”. Kai recently returned to the Red brand in November after a knee injury which required surgery on his right meniscus. She was struck off on television when Baszler, Stark and Sonya Deville of pure collective fusion, attacked her behind the scenes. Before that, she was sidelined for almost a year after another knee injury when she torn her LCA in May 2023.
Too bad CNTRL also came out of two other members, Asuka also rehabilitating a knee injury which put it on the shelf last March. Kairi Sane is recovering from an arm injury that apparently needed surgery, while “the pirate sky” shared images of her in a hospital in January.
