Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss is set to be out of the ring for two years, but according to a new report, that could soon change.
After months of teasing from Bliss, FightVotes notes that her “highly anticipated return” is finally on the horizon as WWE’s creative team has begun to consider her in their future plans. Additionally, Bliss-related merchandise and promotional materials are reportedly already in development.
Bliss, now 33, last wrestled at the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble in a loss to then-WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Shortly after, she appeared on the ninth season of “The Masked Singer” under the guise of “Axolotl.” Bliss’s series spanned six episodes as she was eliminated alongside Holly Robinson Peete, also known as “Fairy”, in the “Country Night” special. In May 2023, Bliss announced her pregnancy, and she and husband Ryan Cabrera subsequently welcomed a daughter into the world in November.
Anticipation for Bliss’ return to the ring intensified in 2024 when she revealed she was training again. Since then, she’s kept her fans in suspense with even more teases, including one before the premiere of “WWE Raw” on Netflix, in which she indicated her hope that 2025 would be “happy.”
The last time WWE fans saw Bliss, she appeared to be under the strange spell of Uncle Howdy, who now runs the Wyatt Sicks stable. Upon her return, however, it is possible that she will revert to one of her old personas, such as “The Goddess”.
