It seems that the fourth time is not the charm of Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend while their efforts to capture the WWE women’s team championships have failed once again on “WWE NXT”. On this occasion, Jackson and Legend challenged Bianca Belair and Naomi.
At one point, Jackson and Legend seemed to be on the verge of victory when they had Naomi with a combination of headgear. Before the legend could gain a fall on Naomi, however, Belair jumped into the ring to break it. In the moments of closing of the title match, Belair helped send the legend through the ropes and outside. Meanwhile, Naomi reversed a fall from Jackson for a fall of two strokes. With the legend still on the ground, Naomi and Belair then delivered a double kod on Jackson to keep the WWE women’s team championships.
With this victory, Belair and Naomi are now 2-0 in their television defenses on the title of Tag. Last month, Naomi intensified to be the partner of the Belair label, while her former co-champion Jade Cargill remains out of action after an attack behind the scenes she suffered in November. During their first outing together, Naomi and Belair beat Nia Jax and Candice Lerae on “Wwe Smackdown”.
Their tag title match against Jackson and Legend occurred about two weeks ago when meta-four comrades beat Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) in a number one candidates’ match on “NXT”. Jackson and Legend had three previous opportunities to win the WWE women’s team championships, returned in July 2024.
