Myles Garrett is going anywhere soon. Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry told Senior Bowl journalists that he would not exchange Garrett, regardless of what the team was offered.
Berry was also asked directly if the Browns would refuse an offer of two first -round choices.
“Correct,” he said, via cleveland.com. “You can put this on the disc.”
Earlier this offseason, Garrett briefly thought of a potential trade which would make him continue his career elsewhere. A few weeks later, he sang a different air. “We are closer than some do not think so,” he said Earlier this month.
With this quote apparently in mind, Berry said that he was open to discussing an extension with Garrett.
“I don’t want to get into contractual discussions. I wouldn’t do it publicly,” said Berry. “But I think you can assume that we plan to do a third contract with Myles at some point. We want him to retire here.”

Cleveland currently costs more than $ 30 million compared to the salary ceiling for 2025 and must start making calculation movements. Garrett’s basic salaries have already been converted into a signature bonus, however, and he also has five years of emptiness nailed to the end of his agreement to spread his heads and keep the number. However, an extension – or simply a completely new contract – could provide additional flexibility on the line.
What Berry wants, however, is for Garrett to stay as long as possible.
“We feel really good about Myles, obviously, like a big piece of our future. We are impatiently waiting for it to be on the ground,” he said. “As I said during my press conference (early January), we imagine it from Cleveland to Canton when his career is over.”
