CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins in the main event of “WWE Raw”‘s historic debut on Netflix, and arguably the most surprising aspect of the match was that the ending was clean, with no interference or shenanigans. This has left many fans wondering where Seth Rollins’ character goes from here – a topic that was covered in a recent edition of “Broken open radio“.
“Gun to my head, right now he needs to take out CM Punk. He must be a really bad loser. Last night was a pretty definite win,” co-host Bully Ray explained. “Seth is basically telling the truth about Punk, (but) it doesn’t add up. …if people were ever going to buy into Seth and what Seth was saying, Seth was going to have to back him up and beat him, and he ‘didn’t.’
Bully then speculated that Rollins would take a break and return as a heel with an unorthodox form of help from his wife, Becky Lynch.
“If they really want you to believe in this shit that Seth could turn into, even his wife, when he comes back, says, ‘I don’t know you anymore. You’ve become something completely different.'” Ray suggested. “There are many ways to do this.”
Bully then reflected and discussed Punk and Rollins’ relationship behind the scenes and how it may or may not impact their working relationship.
