THE Nfl The vacant head posts fill quickly. The Chicago Bears picked up Ben Johnson, the New England Patriots hired Mike Trébel, the New York Jets obtained Aaron Glenn, the Jacksonville Jaguars landed Liam Coen and, more recently, the raiders were coiled in Pete Carroll.
It is five of the seven filled openings. The Saints of New Orleans and the Dallas Cowboys still have co for of co for of cointeering, and the two discussed at least one of the eight main remaining candidates.
What are the best candidates after Johnson, Glenn, Trinel, Coen and Carroll have been hired? These are the best remaining names:
8. Steve Spagnuolo
Current position: Defensive coordinator, chiefs of Kansas City
The 65-year-old spagunolo obtains interviews again to become head coach after winning three Super Bowls commanding the defense of the Chiefs. Spagunolo is one of the most large defensive coordinators of Nfl History, but its history as a head coach are much to be desired.
Spagnuolo has a 11-41 sheet in his career as a head coach, and is a much better as a coordinator. Maybe a second opportunity would benefit Spagnuolo.
7. Brian Schottenheimer
Current position: Attacking coordinator, Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys have a second interview with Schottenheimer, who would be a first head coach if he was hired. Schottenheimer, 51, was not the play calling in Dallas, but helped the cowboys to have the best classified rating offensive in 2023 and had a top 10 score attack in four of the five Last seasons, he has been an attacking coordinator.
Son of Marty Schottenheimer, Brian has the pedigree and the experience to succeed in the league (coach Nfl for 25 years). Every year as a coordinator – have been one for four different teams – can be dissuasing at this stage of her career.
Pete Carroll takes the work of the raiders, who becomes the oldest head coach in the history of the NFL next season at 74
Garrett Podell
6. Kellen Moore
Current position: Attacking coordinator, Philadelphia Eagles
Moore has been the game call for the Eagles for a single season and has orchestrated a historic season of Saquon Barkley and the Eagles offensive line. The difficulties of the passing game and the coordination with Jalen Hurts are a concern, but the Moore, 35, has an attack among the first 10 in four of his six seasons as an offensive coordinator.
Moore is one of the best young assistants in the game, but may need a more seasoning in Philadelphia.
5. Brian Flores
Current position: Defensive coordinator, Minnesota Vikings
Flores is likely to obtain another opportunity as a chief coach, on the basis of its history as a defensive coordinator of the Vikings and its success to transform the dolphins of Miami before its controversial dismissal. The Vikings have become a Top Five of La Défense in just two years under Flores, which is one of the most aggressive appellants in the game.
Flores finished 24-25 in Miami with two winning seasons before his dismissal, not bad for a coach who accelerated a reconstruction which looked disastrous for the franchise in 2019. He is about to get another job.
Liam Coen hired as Jaguars head coach: Buccaneers Oc leaves after a season for “ the opportunity of a life ”
Garrett Podell

4. Kliff Kingsbury
Current position: Attacking coordinator, Washington commanders
In a single season in Washington, Kingsbury’s work as an attacking player and development of Jayden Daniels queuing him to become a head coach again. Commanders had an offense among the first five, while Daniels had one of the best recruit seasons in history – in any position.
Kingsbury was 28-37-1 in his four seasons with the Cardinals of Arizona, but proved that he was an innovator in attack and avenged the story that his offenses are fighting in the second half. A second opportunity as a head coach can happen because Kingsbury is a hot candidate.
3. Mike McCarthy
Current position: None
The former Dallas Cowboys head coach is one of the best candidates available and has one of the most accomplished history of candidates. McCarthy is 174-112-2 during his 18 seasons as a chief coach, with a record of 11-11 and a record of qualifying series and a Super bowl title.
The Bears transmitted McCarthy in favor of Ben Johnson, but the saints are interested in bringing McCarthy. Is McCarthy’s offensive something in the past? Has the call of McCarthy’s play has become expired? Perhaps, but his culture building was essential to make the franchises of the playoffs. He will have his choice where he wants to go.
2. Todd Monken
Current position: Attacking coordinator, Baltimore Ravens
Monken should obtain even more recognition as a candidate for the head coach according to his work with Lamar Jackson in the past two years. Jackson won the Ligue MVP last season and is about to win the award again after launching 41 affected by just four interceptions this year.
The Ravens had an offense among the first five in the two years under Monken, as well as the best ground offense. 58 -year -old Monken is one of the best soles of football.
1. Joe Brady
Current position: Offensive coordinator, Buffalo Bills
The best candidate of the board of directors is the one who spent Josh Allen from a turnover machine to one of the most intelligent quarters of the game. Working with fewer talents in attack than most candidates, the Bills had the n ° 2 offense in 2024 – exceeding 30.9 points per match.
At just 35, Brady is the game call that would be the best for one of the coaching-chief positions. His attack is not innovative, but Brady calls a big game and is excellent with the quarters.
