WWE star Cody Rhodes is getting ready to change careers.
Rhodes, real name Cody Garrett Runnels, is the undisputed WWE Champion.
However, while the 38-year-old is no stranger to playing in front of large crowds, he will try his hand at playing in front of television screens.
This comes after Paramount announced that Rhodes would be part of their reboot for a “Naked Gun” show.
The streaming service announced its “full” cast for the project on Thursday.
While fans will be excited to see the American hunk in the series, they will be disappointed by the extent of his role.
According to DeadlineRhodes will only have one appearance in the project.
The so far untitled project is scheduled for release in July 2025.
Other stars already announced for the series include Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand and Danny Huston.
New additions to the Rhodes cast include Liza Koshy, CCH Pounder (Rustin), and Busta Rhymes.
Rhodes won’t be the first WWE star to try his hand at acting.
Dwayne Johnson became a big Hollywood star in numerous adventure films such as Jumanji, while John Cena found great success with his role as Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad.
Dave Bautista has also starred in comic book films, playing Drax in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while also starring in Dune and Dune: Part II as Rabban Harkonnen.
