Motor City’s machine guns were screwed from the WWE Tag team championship against #DIY during the live event Royal Rumble Premium on Saturday evening. MCMG faced the title champions of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa under two stipulations of two falls, after having lost the titles because of sneaky tactics in December, and see their revenge earlier this month ending with an abrupt end. The tactics of smoke and mirror were once again the goal of the game for Ciampa and Gargano, confusing their opponents with a ghost label in Gargano, allowing Ciampa to land the knee in the course of Alex Shelley for the first autumn.
They sought to close the match with more the same thing, Ciampa at some point by crawling under the ring to eliminate Shelley on the other side. But MCMG managed to retaliate and level the scoring. Even again, Chris Sabin took both the end of the fairy tale and Project Ciampa for what seemed to be the end, to go out for two; Ciampa opted for the air raid accident of the upper rope, but Shelley fought in the fight with Sabin, winning a double team blockbuster for their own fall. MCMG sought to finish the match and find his titles, but while the referee focused on half of the things, the profits of the street emerged to cost them the fight, striking them with crutches. Once #diy had obtained the second fall and, therefore, victory, the profits also suffered them to close the segment by holding the titles.
