3rd quarter report
Only a quarter remains between the Warriors and the victory they were favored to achieve tonight. Sitting on a score of 92-91, they appear to be the better team, but there is still a quarter to play.
The Warriors came into the game with extra motivation after the loss they suffered the last time these two teams faced each other. We’ll see if they are able to flip the script or if it will just be more of the same.

What you need to know
After two road games, the Warriors return home. They will host the Indiana Pacers on Monday at 10 p.m. ET at Chase Center. Both teams have worked hard to overcome obstacles in their previous battles and are surely both feeling confident ahead of this clash.
After struggling through three straight losses, the Warriors finally turned things around against the Timberwolves on Saturday. They came away with a 113-103 victory over Minnesota.
The Warriors can attribute much of their success to Stephen Curry, who had a double-double with 31 points and ten assists. Curry struggled to find his footing against the Grizzlies on Thursday, so this was a nice turnaround.
Meanwhile, the Pacers entered their game against the Kings on Sunday with three straight wins, but they will enter their next game with four. Everything went well against Sacramento as they took a 122-95 victory. The contest marked Indiana’s most dominant victory of the season thus far.
Even though they won, the Pacers struggled to get the ball on offense and finished the game with only six offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as the Kings struck out 15.
Golden State’s win ended a five-game road drought and puts them at 15-12. As for Indiana, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which improved their record to 14-15.
Monday’s game is shaping up to be a scrappy game: The Warriors have been breaking the glass this season, averaging 47.3 rebounds per game (they’re ranked third in total rebounds per game). It’s a different story for the Pacers, as they only average 40.5. Given the Warriors’ considerable advantage in this area, the Pacers will need to find a way to close that gap.
Going forward, the Warriors are the favorites in this one, as experts expect to see them win by 5.5 points. Those brave souls putting their money on Indiana ATS have faith in an upset since their 12-17 ATS record can’t hold up against Golden State’s 17-10.
