Vince McMahon’s screen stories were often among the most uncompromising angles in WWE history, and for years he pushed acceptable television, even if it involved his real wife, Linda McMahon, and Her children, Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon. However, when he finally played all the possible angles he could with them, McMahon simply wrote a new member of the family, in the form of his “illegitimate” son, Hornwoggle, in a now criticized angle.
Hornwoggle recently appeared on “Representation of rewinding summary“Podcast, where he recalled how the scenario materialized.
“Vince McMahon’s script was the greatest thing that has ever happened in my career,” admitted the wrestler. “Legitimately the greatest thing of all time, I always hold it very, very faithful to my heart and very close to my heart. It was the greatest thing that ever happened to my career at that time.”
Hornwoggle recalled how he had several segments centered around him after having become McMahon’s “son” as the mini royal battle, adding how he was allowed to fight in the match.
“I think it’s this moment when it finally struck me like,” Whoa, it’s only about me. It’s about no one else, it’s all about me “”, he recalls.
Hornwoggle said he was not the original illegitimate son
Hornwoggle ended up being described as the illegitimate son of Vince McMahon, but the former WWE star, Mr. Kennedy, had initially planned to play this role. But his turbulent relationship with WWE put an end to this. During the same interview, Hornswoggle corroborated rumors that he was never in the original plan.
“Hell no! It was definitely Ken. Ken can deny him, he finally came to accept him. The truth – and tell the truth – it was certainly going to be him,” said the wrestler.
In addition, Hornswoggle noted that WWE was cautious to ensure that the angle would not be disclosed and said that they had taken additional measures to ensure its silence on this subject.

Hornswoggle later went to have a scenario with D-Generation X, and was even revealed as the anonymous GM “WWE RAW”, before its WWE race ended in 2016.
