Starting with arguably the biggest name, Griffin started 33 of 36 games for Alabama a year ago, and so far this season he has started 7 of 10 games for the Kansas Jayhawks. Griffen hasn’t necessarily posted the same numbers as a year ago, however, averaging just 6.9 PPG on 33.3% shooting from three, with a majority of his stats down across the board. compared to a year ago.
2024-25 South Carolina Stats: 10.3 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 1.5 APG, 65.6 FG%, 72.1 FT%
A part-time starter for Alabama last season, Pringle has started all 12 games for the South Carolina Gamecocks so far this season in which he is enjoying a career year. Pringle has been one of South Carolina’s best players so far this year, averaging 10.3 PPG and 6.8 RPG on 65.6% shooting from the field, along with a game-high career-high 72.1% from the free-throw line.
Sam Walters, forward – Michigan Wolverines
2024-25 Michigan Stats: 5.4 PPG, 1.7 RPG, 43.1 FG%, 35.7 3P%, 1,000 FT%
As a freshman last season at Alabama, Walters appeared in 37 total games on the bench for the Crimson Tide, and so far this season with the Michigan Wolverinesthe striker plays a similar role in 12 matches. Coming off the bench for the Wolverines, Walters is once again averaging 5.4 PPG on 35.7% shooting from three, and is also a perfect six for six on free throw attempts.
Mohamed Wague, Center – Oklahoma Earlier
2024-25 Oklahoma Stats: 2.9 PPG, 2.7 RPG, 76.5 FG%, 85.7 FT%
Wague appeared in 33 games a year ago during his lone season at Alabama, starting in eight. Now with the Oklahoma EarlyWague has appeared in 11 games off his bench in which he has a similar stat line to a year ago at 2.9 PPG and 2.7 RPG, while also shooting a career-high 76 .5% on the ground.
Davin Cosby, guard – Wake Forest Demon Deacons
2024-25 Wake Forest stats: 6.8 PPG, 1.5 RPG, 36.5 FG%, 32.4 3P%, 50 FT%
Cosby appeared in 22 games on the bench for Alabama last season, but has since joined the Wake Forest Demon Deacons where he has started 9 of 13 games so far this year. As of right now, Cosby is currently averaging a career-high 6.8 PPG on 36.5% shooting from the field.
Kris Parker, Forward – Villanova Wildcats
2024-25 Stats at Villanova: 3.2 PPG, 1.7 RPG, 44.8 FG%, 29.4 3P%, 58.8 FT%
Finally, after not seeing action a year ago at Alabama as a freshman, Parker has appeared in a total of 13 games off the bench for the Villanova Wildcats this season. Over that span, Parker is averaging 3.2 PPG on 44.8% shooting from the field.
