THE Georgia Bulldogs Has seven players against the NCAA transfer portal after the 2023-2024 university basketball season. Each player was transferred for various reasons, but for the most part, he was looking for more playing time or a more important role in a team.
Overall, out of the seven Georgia Basketball transfers, two of which have much more important roles (Matthew Alexander-Moncrieffe and Mari Jordan). These two players went to smaller schools in less competitive conferences than dry and have more playing time.
Two former Georgia players have decreased roles (both in the grandes schools of basketball) for their respective teams. The other three transfers have roles largely similar to what they have done in Georgia.
Head coach Mike White and Georgia probably do not have too much regret with this last transfer window, because Georgia basketball should make the NCAA tournament. Interestingly, Georgia should play against the old center of the Frank Anselem-Ibe and Louisville UGA in March Madness.
Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe, University of Seattle
Moncrieffe has become the top scorer and rebounder in Seattle. Seattle (13-17) is unlikely to make the NCAA tournament, but Moncrieffe has an excellent season. ESPN has tabuated him like an escape in mid-maid. Moncrieffe set up modest numbers during his stay at the UGA.
Statistics: 15.1 points, 9.6 rebounds per game
RJ Melendez, Mississippi State
Melendez and the Mississippi State beat Georgia earlier this season. The state of the Mississippi (20-11) will make the NCAA tournament and will have a solid path in the Dry tournament. Melendez is on average figures similar to what he has done at UGA.
Statistics: 8.9 points, 4.4 rebounds per game
Frank Anselem-Ibe, Louisville
Anselem-ibe has rarely seen playing time this season with Louisville. He only played 3.8 minutes per match (career-basic) in 21 games, but the cardinals (25-6) will make March Madness.
Statistics: 0.4 points, 1.0 rebounds per game
Jabri Abdur-Mahaim, Providence
Abdur-Rahim was the best classified in Georgia Outgoing transfer. If he had returned to the UGA, he would have been the top scorer in the UGA at 12.2 points per game. Instead, he was transferred to Providence (12-19), who had trouble in the Big East. Abdur-Rahim also plays almost 10 minutes per game minus this year.
Statistics: 7.2 points, 2.6 rebounds per game
Husband Jordan, Tulane
Tulane goalkeeper, husband Jordan, did not see the UGA court during his real first year season, then chose to transfer to Tulane (18-13), who should not do March Madness. Jordan plays almost 20 minutes per game with Tulane.
Statistics: 6.8 points, 3.5 rebounds per game
Justin Hill, state of Wichita
The state -of -the -art guardian Justin Hill displays an average of slightly better figures in the AAC. The state of Wichita (18-13) will not be March Madness unless they won their conference tournament, but Hill had a fairly good senior season.
Statistics: 11.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game
Jalen Deloach, Loyola Chicago
Loyola Chicago striker (21-10), Jalen Deloch, hopes to do the NCAA tournament, but they will have to win the Atlantic 10 tournament. Deloach displays figures similar to his last season in UGA in 14.3 minutes per match.
Statistics: 5.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game
