Punjab Hockey League: Roundglass Hockey Academy Bat Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Hockey Academy to Win Title
The Spell Hockey Academy beat Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) Hockey Academy 6-0 in the last championship match and emerged the champion of the Punjab Hockey League at the Surjit stadium in Jalandhar on Monday.
The Rond-Verre was tied with the Surjit Hockey Academy with 23 points of 10 games, but exceeded the table due to its best goals difference from 30 to 22.
The Namdhari Sports Academy finished third, while the SGPC Academy ranked fourth in front of the Punjab sports teams in Mohali and Ludhiana in the six -team competition.
The champion and finalist won 200,000 rupees and 100,000 rupees respectively. The third in the sixth teams shared 150,000 rupees with each other.
Varling Singh was declared the “best player” in the league. Jarman Singh and Gursahil Singh were tried respectively the “best striker” and the “best goalkeeper”. Navraj Singh and Sukhdev Singh were declared the “best defenders” respectively.
