Pranavi, Diksha and Avani are all ready for the classic of Australian women
Indian golfers Pranavi Urs, Diksha Dagar and Avani Prashanth will be impatient to finally obtain an action at the Australian women’s classic on Friday after last week’s event in Brisbane was canceled due to the Alfred cyclone.

Kolkata Challenge to see eminent Indian Golfers in Action
Eminent Indian Golfers, notably the Olympians Gaganjeet Bhullar, SSP Chawrasia and Udayan Mane, Rahil Gangjee and Yuvraj Sandhu will be seen in the challenge of $ 300,000 Kolkata, from the Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC) here on Thursday.
A total of 156 players from 31 countries will participate in the event, the first of the two-week Indian leg leg of the Hotelplanner tour (earlier known as the Challenge Tour) and co-canceled by the Golf Tour Profession of India (PGTI), on its return to the RCGC for the second successive year.
The RCGC land includes leading names in the hotel such as English golfers Eddie Pepperell and Jamie Rutherford, Renato Paracore from Italy, Spaniard Adri Arnaus and the American Matt Oshrine.
The historic route of 7014 yards, which promotes long strikers and punishes inaccurate fire, will challenge golfers with its large number of water risks.
The second Indian Leg event, Delhi Challenge, will be held at the Golf and Country Classic Club in Gurugram from March 20 to 23.

Vani Kapoor jumped in the lead only following a peer 72 for the second successive day on the sixth floor of the Professional Golf Tour Hero Women at the DLF Golf and Country Club on Wednesday.
In search of a hat -trick of titles in the circuit, Vani had five birdies, neutralized by four bogeys and a double bogey. Vani had a two -stroke advance on Sneha Singh and the amateur Anvvi Dahhiya.
Sneha was tied with Vani when she reached the 18th hole, but ended up with a double Bogey. Anvvi had three birdies, apart from four bogeys and a double bogey which put its 3 against 75 for the day, the same as Sneha.
The leader of the night Lavanya Jadon, who had drawn 70 in the first round, had three birdies and eight Bogeys, for a round of 5 against 77. She finished fourth with 3 against 147. The cup fell to 163 and 25 players reached the third and last round.

The champion of the national games Ishaca Eqbal beat the fifth seeded Prajwal Dev 6-3, 6-3 in the first round of the male tennis tournament of $ 15,000 at the CLTA complex on Wednesday.

Suraj broke the 1000m national junior record
Suraj Singh of Uttarakhand broke the national record for the under 18s of 1000m on the way to winning gold in the 20th national athletics championships for young people who ended on Wednesday at the Patliputra sports complex.
Haryana won the team’s overall title while Nitin Gupta of Up (boys, 5000m walk from the race) and Edwina Jason (girls, 400m) from Tamil Nadu were tried the best athletes of the championships.

Anandita Upadyay reaches the junior ITF districts
The qualification Anandita Upadyay reached the female quarter-finals with a 6-2, 6-2 victory on the fourth seeded Ishi Maheshwari in the ITF junior tennis tournament at the tennis project, Baliyawas on Wednesday.
She will play Harsha Oruganti in the quarterfinals. Aishwarya Jadhav, Nainika Bendram, Aakruti Sonkusae, Sohini Mohanty, Jaya Kapoor and Diya Ramesh were the others to do the quarter -finals.
