Arkansas male basketball coach John Calipari received a mixture of cheers and hoots from Kentucky fans in his return Saturday to Rupp Arena.
This is Calipari’s first match in Lexington to face its former team, KentuckyAfter leaving the end of last season. In 15 seasons with the CATS, Calipari went 410-123 and won a national championship in 2012.
The Razorbacks (12-8, 1-6 sec) have lost four of their last five games and are still trying to find ways to win in a solid dry.
Saturday evening’s match will not be easier because they enter a hostile Rupp arena. The Wildcats (15-5, 4-3) won an impressive victory against Tennessee earlier in the week.
