This past Monday, during the first “WWE Raw” on Netflix, John Cena officially kicked off his 2025 retirement tour and confirmed that he will appear in the Royal Rumble on February 1st. After years of a love/hate relationship with the WWE audience, Cena has finally settled into a role that allows him to feel the fans’ gratitude and be himself on television. That being said, the leader of the Cénation recently hinted at the possibility of revisiting part of his past.
During the “Raw” in Netflix Premiere post-show, Cena was asked if fans would get a chance to experience any of his past personas throughout his career, like the “Doctor Of Thuganomics” or “The Prototype,” which brought the 16-time champion to world to say that he would try to bring some of his old characters back to life, even if it’s on a smaller scale.
“What’s great about tonight’s farewell tour is that we launched a new kit and it was very regionally focused… The Prototype wore different colors, the colors of the home team so to speak. I’m really looking forward to trying to go there. Back to how I started and in my thug life, Thuganomics doctor John Cena wore jerseys at home or sometimes at. exterior So there are elements of everything already in front. you, I think, at the end of it all, if you want to see a certain side of the 23 years that I’ve been in the business, I hope you get that little twist, I’m definitely focused on that and I. hopes we can make it happen Cena was also asked about introducing his DC character “Peacemaker” to WWE, stating he could “never say never.”
