To close “RAW”, Logan Paul beat Rey Mysterio to qualify for the match of the elimination room in Toronto.
In the late stages of the match, Mysterio tried to put the crowd there while he installed a 6-1-9, but Paul left the strings to hit him with a big boot. Mysterio made a power-bomb bomb and was then able to connect with its signature movement. Unfortunately, it was not enough to stop Paul. He was able to connect with the Paul-Verizer to obtain the victory.
Before the match, Paul interrupted CM Punk to laugh because Punk boasted in Kevin Owens that he never lost against Paul, only to be eliminated by him the following night in the match Rumble. He said to him: “I had your rumble number, punk and I got your number in the elimination chamber.” He then said that he gave the veteran with decades of experience, Mysterio, his “15 minutes of glory when he lost against Logan Paul”.
It will be the second consecutive year that Paul participated in the elimination chamber. Although he lost, he continued at “Wrestlemania XL” where he beat Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to keep the American title. Mysterio participated in three games from the elimination room, the last being in 2011.
