The recruit of San Antonio Spurs Stephon Castle was ready to roll from the start of his Nba career. The same goes for his car after the team’s 126-116 victory against the Dallas Mavericks Thursday evening.
Castle, a recruit candidate of the year, was ready to leave Frost Bank Arena after contributing eight points and two rebounds in the victory. While Castle approached his car, his teammates spun him, and it became clear that he was not going anywhere.
The rest of the Spurs burst out laughing while Castle discovered that his car had removed the wheels. Devin Vassell published a video of the incident on social networks.
Castle then acted as if he was ready to fight his teammate Blake Wesley, but he took the farce in stride. The real question was whether his teammates returned his wheels immediately or did they make him sweat and call a tow truck?
The pranks by car become a trend around the NBA with Donovan Mitchell Filling Cleveland car rookie jaylon Tyson riders with popcorn Sunday. Players must have their heads on a pivot these days, or they have to start catching journeys in the arena.
