Lyra Valkyria beats Ivy Nile, retains the WWE women's intercontinental title on RAW

Only 50 days in her reign of history as an inaugural champion of the women’s intercontinental, Lyra Valkyria was taken up with her most difficult challenge to this day in Ivy Nile. The episode of Monday of “WWE Raw” saw Valkyria Brave “The Pitbull’s” Incredible Force, and despite an injured knee, Valkyria was out of the ring always the women’s intercontinental champion.

As soon as the opening bell rang, the champion quickly jumped on the challenger. Valkyria overwhelmed his opponent until the Nile managed to find a right hook on the champion, and while the playground was lost after the Nile’s counterattack, things changed after the Nile began exclusively the targeting of Valkyria’s knee.

Valkyria began to show signs of distress throughout the rest of the match, often hugging his knee while the Nile continuously attacked him. Valkyria failed to surround several pins lids following her injured leg, and almost lost the match after the American has made a stubborn star in a brutal ankle lock.

Things only happened for the challenger after Valkyria strategically dodged an attempted kick from Helluva. The foot of the Nile remained stuck on the upper tensioner, and Valkyria quickly used the compromised position of the challenger to settle and connect with a night for victory.

Monday marked the second defense of the Valkyria women’s intercontinental female championship. His first defense of the title saw him defend the title against Dakota Kai in the February 24 episode of “RAW” in a female revenge of the Intercontinental Championship tournament. The Nile set an ambush to a celebration of Valkyria after the defense of the latter’s inaugural title, leading to the match of the intermediary card on Monday. The next Valkyria challenger for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship has not been determined.
