The 2025 edition of “WWE NXT” Roadblock presented a trio of title fighting, a street fight in New York and a match that Mark Henry considers the best of Roxanne Perez’s career. On “Open after nightfall,” The WWE renown temple has extended special praise for head-to-head performance that Perez and Jordynne Grace, who previously met the “NXT” battlefield from last year.
“I don’t know if Roxanne had a better match in her career with WWE,” said Henry. “She should be very proud. And Jordynne Grace d’Austin, Texas, shone like a light. It was absolutely impossible for them, I think, to follow each other. They will have to break them. It is how good they were, in my opinion. It was crazy, the energy that these two women gave in this match.”
Last year, Perez defeated Grace with a pop rox a few moments after the latter pushed the two ASH by Elegance (formerly Dana Brooke) and Tatum Paxley by the ring. This time, Grace beat perez in a clean way, gracked with a grace driver.
“Tonight, we had an excellent finish and it was a clean finish, one, two, three in the middle,” said Henry. “It did not let the crowd guess or doubt. I am sure that Roxanne will say that Jordynne has cheated, but hey, that’s what a good heel does.”
Perez signed WWE for WWE in the first months of 2022. Since then, she has established himself as a double female champion NXT and a leading prospect for a main list.
