The Philadelphia Eagles have lost many key defensive entries in the free agency. For the first time this offseason, Philadelphia lost a free agent on the other side of the ball.
Mekhi Becton left Philadelphia after concluding an agreement with the Los Angeles chargeers, the team announced. By ESPN, The agreement is two years and 20 million dollars. Becton will join an offensive line which has already Rashawn Slater in the left tackle and Joe Alt on the right tackle, and he will continue to play guard. Should play on the right, the loads could release Trey Pipkins to save a wage ceiling space.
Signing a contract of last year, the Eagles pushed Becton to keep and it has become a force on the offensive line.
