The NBA 2025 stars match was not a success with fans and the media in terms of format or presentation, which will probably force the leaders of the League to try something new next year. However, a person was probably extremely satisfied with the events of the stars weekend.

Jaren Barajas, an 18-year-old student, won $ 100,000 by beating All-Star Damian Lillard in a 3-point shooting match in the NBA stars match on Sunday evening.

In the competition, called “The Mrbeast Challenge”, Barajas had to hit a 3 -point pointer before Lillard swings three long -range shots. (The Milwaukee Bucks star probably gave the student a better chance by taking his shots from the logo, rather the line of 3 points.)

To the delight of fans who look at the Chase Center, the stars of the NBA on the field and, of course, Barajas himself, he put in his attempt at 3 points and won the price of 100,000 $ from the competition.

“It will mean the world for me, it will help my family a lot and certainly my future,” said Barajas, Via the Associated Press. “I hope it will help me pay for my studies – which will do it.”

Barajas studies business in Los Medanos College, a two -year college, and finally plans to transfer.

There was a little pressure because the competition suddenly had a time limit because it worked for a long time and took place in the middle of the game of the stars, mainly serving as a time promotion, as Jason Owens said by Yahoo Sports.

“He went to the thread, we had 30 seconds left and my father always told me to use the panel,” said Barajas, Via the Associated Press. “This is what I had to do to bring it in.”

Lillard, playing the NBA star match in his native bay region, was happy to play a role in the good fortune of the young fan.

“I went there and I did the first two and I will not say that I lost on purpose, but I did not do it,” said Lillard, via AP. “I was trying to do it. I was trying to make a brand of quality. I was just happy to see his real excitement. It changes my life for someone.”

Part of Barajas’ luck participated in the competition to start. His father found tickets in their price range on Saturday and bought the seats. When they arrived at Chase Center early, Barajas was asked if he wanted to participate in the competition.

“It was lucky, supposed to be, I don’t know,” said Michael Barajas in the AP. “I can’t believe it.”
