NBA All-Star Game attracts the deluge of criticisms for the tournament format, broadcasting and so Kevin Hart

From the format to the broadcasting to far too much of Kevin Hart, the NBA All-Star tournament on Sunday was a resounding failure.

As it was over, it was difficult to follow what criticism did not like the most. There was a lot to digest.

First and foremost, the new format. In the continuous quest for the NBA to organize a star competition which is really convincing and competitive, he organized a mini-tournoi of three games for the first and, hopefully, the last time.

One of the three teams did not even include stars, a fact that drew the anger of Draymond Green, which castigated the format several times during the broadcast of TNT. The opening match between Team Chuck and Team Kenny provided a glimmer of hope with Competitive fire poster by Victor Wembanyama And Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in victory.

But at the end of the night, basketball was a reflection afterwards, with a last secondary school secondary school in the minds of viewers to everything that was going on on their televisions.

Before the final bucket was marked, Kenny Smith of TNT spoke for most of us and almost called the format of the tournament.

“I think they will change the format,” said Smith when broadcasting, just before Jayson Tatum marks the dunk securing the game.

Why so much Kevin Hart?

Aggravating things was the show around the game. While basketball was not convincing, TNT and the NBA surrounded and even interrupted the playing action with distracting segments and Hart unwanted jokes.

Hart’s forced performance which presented a funny suggestion This Shaquille O’Neal was “dressed as a porn director” shot a deluge of fronds and arrows on social networks. This also aroused a thought which was previously unthinkable to the dedicated NBA fans. Maybe it’s a good thing that the NBA leaves TNT?

It was not only Hart and the content of the basketball action ruptures. It is the fact that they existed first, in abundant volume.

There was the unexpected promotion of Mr. Beast who could not be saved from his bizarish shoe, even with a result of the best case.

Viewers just wondered why they watched a prolonged time of time on television instead, you know, a basketball match.

And then there was the tribute outside the TNT broadcast team which in fact stopped the gameplay. Seriously, they took an extended break during the championship match.

After the Shaq team took an advance of 11-1, they just stopped the match for a silly presentation on the field in Shaq, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson. And it was presented by – you guessed it – Kevin Hart, who brought even more grin to diffusion.

As the game resumed, 20 full minutes had passed.

I mean, we all like the crew “inside the NBA”, and they deserve all the distinctions they receive. But they don’t go anywhere. And even if they were, the middle of a basketball match is not time or meeting place.

Everything has increased to the failure of the NBA in one of its marquee nights.

Maybe next year on NBC will be better.
