PSV to compensate fans who attended Arsenal Champions League tied

The PSV announced that they would compensate fans who will attend the second stage of their round of 16 on the Champions League in Arsenal on Wednesday.

The gesture comes in response to the Dutch team 7-1 of the first stage of the tie, leaving them with them an almost impossible task to reach the quarterfinals.

Payment of the match tickets outside the Emirates stadium will cost more than € 200,000 ($ 218,550).

“After the bad result at home last week, your support and presence are very appreciated,” the club wrote in an email sent to fans with a ticket.

The PSV rebounded from the battery to Arsenal with a 2-1 victory against Heerenveen on Saturday. The game marked the return of the American defender Sergiño Dest After an 11 -month layoff.

The information from ESPN Netherlands has contributed to this story.
