Rhea Ripley will put for the first time the women’s world championship for the first time against Nia Jax at WWE, the main WWE event on January 25 while defending against Iyo Sky. While the tensions between Ripley and Sky have been up in recent weeks after bad communication between them, the winner of the this evening match was going to defend the title of Wrestlemania 41 against Bianca Belair, who came out victorious in the match of the women’s elimination room 2025 last Saturday in Wwe Chamber.
Two other titles will be at stake this evening, while Ivy Nile challenges Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Although the Nile failed against Dakota Kai in a match of the number one contenders two weeks ago on “RAW”, she clearly indicated that she always had an eye on the prize when she blinded Valkyria with an attack in last week’s edition of the show after having succeeded in keeping Kai. The committees of the Nile Americans will also be in action this evening, because Julius Creed and Brutus Creed are bringing war raids for the WWE World Tag team championship. Similar to the Nile, the Creed Brothers attacked Erik and Ivar behind the scenes last week.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins was eliminated from the match of the 2025 male elimination chamber by Archenemy CM Punk and John Cena after having struck him with the GTS and the attitude adjustment respectively. Punk having been the only one to fall and the animosity of Rollins towards him, he finally cost punk all the match when he helped Cena to put a punk to sleep with a STF when he won a sidewalk section on him. In the light of these events, Rollins and Punk will appear in this evening show with something in their minds to share. In addition, Gunther will also appear while he is preparing to defend the world heavyweight championship against Jey USO in Wrestlemania 41, as is the Bron Breakker intercontinental champion in the middle of his recent problems with Finn Balor and will gain by disqualification against Dominik Mysterio last week.
