The former AEW star, Ricky Starks, is now known as Ricky Saints after making his debut on “WWE NXT” last week and signed a contract on television earlier last Tuesday. Although he was considered once as one of the next major stars of his old promotion, things have gone to the south between the saints and AEW at some point, which led him to be withdrawn from the television.
Saints finally asked for his release from AEW, which was granted alongside several other wrestlers earlier this month. Speaking on “Opening ball after nightfall” Earlier this week, Saints explained why he felt the need to ask to get out of his contract early.
“It’s like trying to find love in the same place you have lost it,” said saints. “At some point, it’s not possible. At some point, you have to be honest with yourself, and that’s where I was.”
The wrestler also said that he was not anxious or frightened to request his release, despite the uncertainty that comes with such a decision. This is because, according to the saints, he carefully reflected each possible result before taking measures and was at peace with everything that could happen.
“I arrived here, 14, alone,” continued holy. “Had no document or a name to put a good word from me. It was done by me, by myself, and that’s how it will be until I died. So no, it was not scary. “”
Now that he is an official member of the WWE list, Saints has his first match in the company to hope. Based on Tuesday’s “NXT” events, Saints will face Wes Lee in next week’s show.
