Paris Saint-Germain received a first offer from Tottenham for their French striker Randal Cole Muanisources told ESPN.
Spurs, 11th in the Premier League table, are looking to strengthen their forward unit and submitted a loan offer with an option to buy on Tuesday, according to sources.
Covering Kolo Muani’s salary of €700,000 ($720,000) per month would not pose a problem for the London club.
Kolo Muani, who has 37 caps for his country with nine goals, is keen to move to England and other clubs including Everton, West Ham United and Aston Villa have expressed interest.
However, the club making the most effort for the 26-year-old’s arrival is Juventus. The Italian giants are trying to prepare an offer for PSG and the player to consider.
The Paris-born striker has made 14 appearances for the club this season, scoring twice, but was made available for a transfer after being deemed surplus to requirements by manager Luis Enrique.
He was not in the matchday squad for the last two matches against Saint-Etienne and Monaco and is also expected to miss the Coupe de France match with Espaly this week, according to ESPN sources.
The transfer saga means Kolo Muani is looking for a new challenge 18 months after joining his boyhood club for 95 million euros ($102.6 million) from Eintracht Frankfurt.
