There are 21 days until “WWE Raw” says goodbye to cable television and hello to Netflix, and naturally, a lot of changes are coming with it. Fortunately, most of the changes were predictable, such as “Raw” airing in a “flexible” time format after a two-hour broadcast throughout the fall, and the show with a new logo. What we shouldn’t have expected was the way WWE unveiled this new logo.
At midday on Monday, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H posted a tweet with the statement “Real. Rebellious. Raw.” Also included was a 45-second video, showing Triple H being driven to WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. As he walked through the building, Triple H could be heard monologuing, at least until he reached the room with the new logo, consisting of the words “Raw” in white font, as opposed to the classic red, as well as red streaks. .
“A logo…is an identity,” Triple H said. “It tells you everything you need to know, without saying anything at all. It’s real, rebellious, Raw. Welcome to ‘Raw,’ on Netflix .”
Even after the logo reveal, there were still ten seconds of video left, reserved for brief highlights of WWE action, including shots of Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Jey Uso , women’s world champion Liv Morgan and Roman Reigns. . The footage was intercut with Triple H looking at a screen displaying the new logo.

This appears to be the second “Raw” logo on Netflix, the first that the streaming platform unveiled during the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight. It is unclear why this logo, which featured the original red font from “Raw”, was removed.
