The Hall of Famer of WWE, Trish Stratus, made its debut in 2000. At the beginning, a model and director of fitness, the former manager of T&A fought to be presented more strongly, and alongside his competitors such as Victoria and Lita, helped to shape the fight of modern women throughout his career. In a new interview with “Drazy open radio“Stratus looked 25 in industry.
“It has not been flowing in that I have been doing their debut for 25 years,” said Stratus, laughing that society had low expectations for the fitness model at the time. Stratus thinks that other women in the division at the time deserve as many praise as they have made a concerted effort to increase the level of women’s competition to WWE. “If we had not fought hard for scenarios and longer matches … We may not have been where we are now. We had to fight for that at the time.”
According to Stratus, it was not until later appearances in the business, where talent would launch dream matches that would put it in a star or lita, that she had realized how influential she had been for the fight of modern women.
“Me and lita was like” Whoah, we really had an impact “,” said Stratus, amazed at the number of female talents have credited them to inspire them to become wrestlers.
Stratus will be in competition this weekend during the elimination event in his hometown of Toronto. She will team up with WWE women’s champion Tiffany Stratton, to face the Nia Jax team and WWE women’s champion Candice Lerae.
