Paul Heyman was involved in the wrestling industry in the 1980s, starting as a photographer and assistant on the Ring long before becoming a manager. Vince McMahon Sr. was still the owner of WWE while Heyman made his debut in the company in adolescence. Speak with Screenrant, “The Wise Man” opened a state of mind that he learned by working in close collaboration with McMahon Sr. which he still remembers today.
“I was 16 or 17 years old in the locker room of Madison Square Garden. And he had a roll of neighborhoods in hand. And someone complained about something. And Vince said to this person:” So you should stop To work for me and find a place to work that makes you happy. And someone said to Vince Senior: “Are you happy?” And he said, “You know, I hear people all the time saying, I get up in the morning, and I have to work. Go to work! ‘”
Heyman shared that working in a creative environment is not taken for granted in WWE, and the mentality of McMahon to “be done” to go to work, instead of “having”, is the mentality of the company today Hui. He also expressed that it is important for those who within WWE to recognize the lucky life they live and feel enthusiastic about coming.
