Texas A&M (10-2) played its first game without Wade Taylor IV and after a slow start, the Aggies ran away with Houston Christian in a 77-45 blowout victory last week.

It’s safe to say that coach Buzz Williams wasn’t too happy with the way his team played against a team they probably should have beaten more. There were some markers the Aggies didn’t hit, especially in the first half. They weren’t able to get to the free throw line early and instead seemed to go through the motions. He had it corrected after halftime, but it was still worrying to see.

There hasn’t been much movement in the top ten, but with Kentucky lose by 20 to Ohio State they fell six places to 10th. Another surprise is Purdue who barely maintained their top 25 ranking, falling to last place after the loss to Auburn. The Aggies only played one game against a Quad 4 team and ended up falling a few spots to 13th.
