Following a WWE counterpart record in 2024, the first premium live event that took place in France, the company announced that after taking its annual post-wrestlemania Plean international return in the past two years, the 2025 Backlash edition will return by the United States in May.
In an official press published published by WWE, The company confirmed that Backlash 2025 will take place on Saturday May 10 at the Enterprise Center de St. Louis, Missouri. WWE has also confirmed that Randy Orton, from St. Louis, will appear on the show to a certain extent, just like John Cena, the program being another major stop on his way to retirement in December of this year. It remains to be seen if these two men will interact once again, but for those who want to see the event live, the tickets will be put on sale on Friday March 21 at 10 am CT, With the pre-sale of the event starting on Wednesday March 19 at 10 a.m..
