Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch have spent years working inside and outside of WWE to get to the position they have today, at the top of the company’s talent hierarchy, with all the perks that come with it. arise. Appearing on the “Jason Khalipa Podcast”, Rollins explained why he and Lynch made the decision to take their own tour bus to travel.
“When I got to WWE, having a bus, at the time, was a status symbol because it was expensive,” Rollins said. “If you had the highest income, you could afford to travel that way. For longevity purposes, it’s night and day.”
Rollins explained that WWE stars will often perform on either “WWE SmackDown” on Friday nights or “WWE Raw” on Monday nights, and will be required to work live events over the weekend. For all of these shows, the wrestlers are responsible for booking their own travel and accommodations, which often means having to drive themselves from city to city in the middle of the night or early in the morning.
By the end of 2019, Rollins and Lynch were in a long-term relationship and felt comfortable enough with their income to invest in a tour bus for travel. The COVID-19 pandemic kept the couple from using the bus wisely for over a year, but everything worked out as they decided to have a baby during this time off.
Lynch made the decision to return to wrestling shortly after giving birth, and Rollins explained that their daughter, Roux, immediately hit the road with them. The WWE star said the couple were extremely lucky to already have the tour bus set up and ready to go.
“We were so lucky to be able to have (the bus) and be able to take him everywhere with us and experience his childhood,” Rollins continued.
