Every Roman Reigns WWE Match of 2024, Definitely Ranked Worst to Best
Roman Reigns didn’t have a very busy year in 2024, but his matches were still unmissable!
This story, spanning several years, will go down as one of the greatest in wrestling history. It was meticulously planned and features incredible highs and lows that captivated audiences and built true stars. However, there’s a good chance this scenario will end with a whimper rather than the big bang it deserves.
Where is the bloodline story right now?
Roman Reigns is the tribal leader again
- Roman Reigns runs The Bloodline.
- He defeated Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat to win back the Ula Fala.
- It’s unclear what’s next for Roman Reigns in WWE.
From the moment Roman Reigns lost his undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes, the storyline went through a rough patch. This is largely due to Reigns being away for so long, leading WWE to focus on Solo Sikoa. It is questionable whether he has achieved this level of attention.
Sikoa created his own breakaway version of The Bloodline, and it was a wise decision. This led to the return of Reigns and the eventual battle between the two versions of the faction within WarGames, creating a memorable encounter. Reigns followed that up by defeating Sikoa in Tribal Combat on Raw to regain his place as table leader.
However, moving forward, it’s unclear where things stand with this story. There is no apparent rivalry for Reigns at the moment, given that Cody Rhodes is busy feuding with Kevin Owens and his work against Sikoa appears to be done. This places the faction and this epic, years-long story at an interesting time because, for the first time, it’s unclear what’s next, which could hint that the end is finally upon the universe. WWE.
There appears to be no end goal for the lineage
What will WWE do next with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline?
- Roman Reigns no longer has a direct rival.
- WWE needs to create a new feud for the tribal leader quickly.
- Fans don’t want to see more of Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa.
Throughout the Bloodline saga, it was clear that WWE had distinct long-term plans and ideas for what the faction would do next at every stage. However, from 2025 it is quite the opposite. Reigns’ version of the group may be on the same page, but they’re disjointed by the fact that they’re all on different rosters and don’t work together on a weekly basis.
Fans are no longer interested in his feud with Solo Sikoa because the original tribal leader dominated the feud and won it. Sikoa is a good talent, but he’s not on the same level as Reigns, which is why an angle between them isn’t compelling. Then there’s Cody, but Roman faces Rhodes for the third time in a row. FightMania would be exaggerated.
With so much star power in WWE right now, it’s hard to see where Reigns’ big fit fits into his part-time schedule. The storyline may have been historic, but it’s starting to run out of steam, with WWE seemingly not planning a big finale moment after all this time.
Major match could save bloodline angle
The Rock Vs. Roman Reigns could still be in the cards
- The Rock vs Roman Reign is a dream match that fans have wanted to see for years.
- WWE had originally booked this as the main event of WrestleMania 40.
- The Rock remains present in WWE.
Even though WWE may end this storyline in disappointing fashion, the company could still use one trick to save it: booking Roman Reigns to face The Rock. Fans have wanted to see this matchup for years, and it has the potential to make headlines. FightMania 41 and make fantastic deals for the company.
Reigns has always claimed to be the head of the family table, but this is where The Rock might have the advantage. Him pushing the idea that he was the man behind Solo Sikoa’s behavior would make sense, while also tapping into the engaging Final Boss persona he created during his last run.

Building this match to close FightMania 41 is the right way to end this epic story. This would allow Reigns to have his final moment of conquest at the top of the faction as a babyface, so his work can be appreciated while potentially providing the perfect swan song for The Rock to ride into the sunset in same time. This is an ideal situation for all parties involved. However, it’s unclear if The Rock wants to return to the ring to ensure this storyline gets the ending it deserves.
