Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told reporters As of Monday, Flowers is considered “day to day” due to the injury, and added that it is not considered a season-ending illness. Flowers reportedly suffered a sprain, according to NFL Mediawhich opens the door to the possibility of missing the playoff opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Early in the second quarter, Flowers caught a short pass down the left sideline from quarterback Lamar Jackson, and at the end of his 12-yard gain, Flowers fell to the ground and grabbed his knee. The Ravens initially listed him as questionable due to a knee injury, but ruled him out early in the second half.
The Ravens (12-5) played their starters Saturday as a victory against the Cleveland Browns (3-14) would give them the AFC North title and the third seed in the AFC in the playoffs. Flowers entered Week 18 as Baltimore’s leader in receptions (73) and receiving yards (1,047), and he became the first wide receiver in franchise history to earn a draft selection.
